Return policy
Here’s the skinny. Returns are never fun. The last thing I want is for someone to be dissatisfied with the item they purchased. However, if it must come to it, here are a few rules for how returns work with Miner Book Co.
non-custom Items
Items sold that contain no customizations can be returned for a full refund if the request to return has been submitted in writing within 30 days of purchase. The item must be received back in good and equivalent condition to when it was shipped out. The customer pays for all return shipping. A refund will be given once the item has been received and condition verified. Exchanges are not allowed.
Custom Items
Custom items are defined as anything that is made-to-order based on artistic decisions directed by you, the customer. This includes full custom work as well as items that have been made in bulk but have customizations to them (such as names, dates, or initials). Any item that has a custom element to it cannot be returned or refunded. There are no exceptions to this.
Shipping Issues
Every so often, a package gets lost in the mail or arrives in not-so-great condition. In these situations, the item will either be resent or replaced with an item of equal value and equivalent artistic look, or refunded—whichever option is preferred. Due to the artistic nature and small batch sizes of my work, I cannot guarantee an exact replacement will be sent. The customer must submit the problem in writing within 30 days of purchase or within 7 days of receiving the item. Please ensure there is photographic evidence of items delivered in not-so-great condition as it helps when submitting a claim with the postal service.
